This apartment today belongs to our heroine’s mother. Previously, it was dilapidated, and the girl decided to update the space and provide her mother with comfortable housing.
Corridor
The girl wanted to decorate the interior in light colors. The brightest colors were used to line the walls in the hallway, porcelain tiles with a decorative pattern were used to decorate the floor, and a heated floor system was installed.
In the corridor itself, instead of porcelain stoneware, an engineered board was used, on the left side of the threshold there is a hanger for outerwear, and below there is a small banquette with a shelving unit. The wardrobe is located a little deeper.
Living room
Immediately before the renovation, it seemed as dull and gloomy as possible, but due to the light-colored finishing, the space became transformed. The floor is the same as in the hallway, there is a sofa next to the entrance, and opposite there is a compact television area. There is a dining area by the window.
Kitchen
The entire set was purchased at IKEA, the window sill was combined with the tabletop, it is made on the basis of quartz agglomerate, and now there is a morning coffee area. Herringbone tiles were used to decorate the backsplash.
Sleeping space
The owner decided to recreate the atmosphere of a secluded house located outside the city. This was helped by a special view from the window and wallpaper depicting plants and birds. On the right side of the door there is a storage area; the closet is located in a niche, as if it were part of the wall.
Bathroom
It has wet areas covered with tiles called “hog” tiles, while other walls are covered using water-resistant soft blue. Decorative tiles replicate the design of the hallway.
