One young family from Finland realized that they did not have enough money to buy their own home. They didn’t want to take out a multi-year loan, so they used all their available funds to buy an industrial garage, where cars and special equipment were previously stored. Now their apartment is located in this room, and they divided the rest of the space into several studios, which they successfully rent out and receive money for it. Moreover, they formalized everything, and now the premises have been given residential status.
If you look inside, it seems that you are in an ordinary apartment. And when you enter the hallway, you realize that it is combined with the living room. The zones can be seen by the division of floor tiles, and at the entrance there is a shoe rack and a wardrobe for outerwear. Part of the wall was dismantled, and panoramic windows appeared in the living room.
The communications in the former garage were completely replaced, and new windows and doors were installed. Also, the living room smoothly connects with the kitchen area, and is separated only by the bar counter.
And the living room has exits to two bedrooms, an adult and a children’s room. The children’s room has large windows.
There was one more room left, and at first they wanted to make a bedroom for guests, but then they decided to make a home sauna. The entrance to it was made from the bathroom, which housed a washing machine and was installed to steam clothes.
