In 2021, the main character of this story bought an apartment together with her husband. Everything about it was beautiful, but the overall condition was in need of updating. For this reason, the decision was made to begin renovations. But the budget was limited, there was no money to pay workers, so the heroes did everything with their own hands. And yet the changes were dramatic. Read on and find out for yourself.
The structure of the renovation work included replacing floors, leveling walls, and connecting the kitchen and hotel areas together. Among other things, it was decided to replace the plumbing and electrical wiring, dismantle the mezzanines in the hallway, etc.
Hallway
Its design involves the use of gentle tones and dark accents. The updated front door became incredibly in keeping with the theme; an open hanger and a shelf for storing shoes were created near it. A wide mirror stands a little further away, opposite the entrance there is a wardrobe and a mezzanine attached to it, and the doors are painted deep green.
Kitchen-living room
The design was developed independently, the walls are decorated extremely gently, and the tiles are presented in white and contain black inclusions, which combines perfectly with the furniture. They decided to use the opening practically and installed a refrigerator in it. Where the living room opens into the kitchen, there is a dining area, there is a beautiful floor, and one of the walls is highlighted through the color green, which is appropriate for the corner sofa nearby.
Bedroom
The main color for the walls was chosen according to the same principle as for the living room; in the central part of the room there is a double bed with a black metal base. Opposite is the storage system. In turn, there is a dressing table in the corner.
Children’s
The son of this couple is simply delighted with dinosaurs, so this theme prevails in the children’s room. There is a bed next to the window, and opposite there is a cozy work area with a bookcase for storing books.
Bathroom
The predominant colors here are green and white. As part of the interior, tiles and paint were used. Among other things, it was possible to provide a niche to accommodate a washing machine and a wall cabinet, while preserving space for a bathtub.
