Designer Violetta Koltan designed a two-room apartment in a Khrushchev-era building for herself and her family: she wanted to add color accents and implement solutions that the customers did not dare to make. We did a partial redevelopment: we got a separate bedroom with a work area, a dressing room, a kitchen-living room with an additional workspace.
The wall behind the sofa was decorated with natural wood panels – the interior became cozier and warmer. We also used duropolymer panels in the living room and bedroom for volume and geometry.
The household unit was disguised behind a false TV wall. The designer really wanted to fill the interior with objects with history: the radio in the living room was inherited from her grandmother and serves as a TV stand, and the shelf in the hallway was made by the owner’s grandfather.
The walls are ready to be painted: a rabbit lives at home, and this finish will not be damaged by animals. Laminate flooring was laid on the floor in the living areas, and porcelain tiles were installed in the hallway and bathroom. Warm floors were provided not only in the “wet” areas, but also in the residential areas – the comfort in the apartment reached the maximum level.
