Spectacular renovation of a three-room apartment 53 m² (see photos before and after)

The customer wanted to get an apartment with a spectacular renovation on a limited budget. The work began with redevelopment: they combined the kitchen and living room, there were no problems with this, since the house is not gasified. One bedroom was decorated as the main one. The second room can have either one bed or two for children.

The kitchen set was made to order and the appliances were built-in. We abandoned the upper cabinets in favor of open shelves. The kitchen backsplash is made of white tiles from the countertop to the ceiling.

The painting in the living room, a reproduction of Matisse, was painted by popular blogger Daria Geiler. Above the dining table is a framed vintage poster.

The wall from the kitchen to the hallway was painted a pleasant yellow shade. It makes the interior more cheerful, plus it separates utility and circulation spaces into one zone.

The children’s room turned out to be universal to make residents of any age comfortable. The beds are single, but the common headboard allows you to combine them into a double bed. Electrical wiring was also made for this scenario. There is a study table that can be used as a dressing table.

The walls of the children’s room were painted in two colors – pink and blue, separated by black molding and supported by accessories. To prevent the TV from looking like a lonely black square, the designer created a pair for it by hanging a mirror of the same shape and size next to it.

Black molding was also used in the bedroom, but here it was given a gray edging that replaced the traditional ceiling cornice.

“Initially, the project, with a limited budget, included IKEA furniture, but it stopped selling, so we were looking for a replacement without compromising the style and concept,” says the designer.

We decided to leave a separate bathroom for ease of use by a large family. The bathrooms turned out to be small, but functional. The decoration used a combination of tiles and painting.
