Minimal redevelopment, cheerful colors of wall decoration and decor from around the world – you will definitely want to repeat this interior.
Briefly
The apartment of designer Katya Chistova is located in a typical house with very low ceilings and small rooms. But Katya was able to compensate for the shortcomings of the room through smart solutions: “We successfully divided the irregularly shaped hallway into two zones – the entrance with hangers and shelves for shoes, and the hall. The doorway to the bedroom was moved a little, and a spacious closet was hidden in the resulting niche,” says the designer.
In the kitchen, we decided to get rid of the old pantry and thereby free up space for a spacious storage system. And in the bathroom, the apartment owners sacrificed useful space for the sake of comfort: the shower cabin was replaced with a bathtub – now in the evening you can lie down here with a book and, importantly, it is convenient to bathe a child in the bathtub.

And to ensure that the interior was not only functional, but also uplifting, the designer added bright colors. The blue facades of the set and the tiles on the apron cannot but please the eye; their pattern reminds the owners of the majolica of the island of Capri. And the rich yellow walls of the kitchen make the space sunny and add positivity to the interior.
Decorative items continue the picturesque theme of the interior. For example, in the bedroom Katya hung an unusual lamp made of shells – a find from Sweden. A good purchase, right? A chandelier with multi-colored glass appeared in the children’s room – it gives off very beautiful reflections. And they added rattan “lemon” to the storage baskets – it looks great.
