After the renovation, the apartment was filled with light, color and a cheerful atmosphere.
Designer turned an old typical Khrushchev apartment into a “Parisian” apartment, bright and stylish. In terms of functionality, we needed a separate bedroom, a dressing room and a full bathroom, and a comfortable, functional kitchen. As a result, we managed to place everything we needed and even allocate a utility and laundry area. The solution with sliding partitions and knowledge of ergonomics helped to fulfill all legal and everyday requirements.
The kitchen is only 5.5 square meters, but it was filled with everything necessary. Thanks to the redevelopment, there was a place for a built-in refrigerator. The set was placed at an angle – one of the sides is located directly under the window where the sink was installed. Upper cabinets are on one wall only.
The customer dreamed of an apartment in the “spirit of Paris.” Paris in her view is bright, free, with a slight touch of antiquity and moderately self-ironic. The interior turned out exactly like this.
For finishing we used French paint: light neutral colors – they do not burden the space and add air to the room. High cornices visually raise the ceiling and also add scale to the entire apartment. In addition, the classic stucco complements the Parisian history.
The color scheme of the walls is mostly calm; the main characters of the space are furniture and lamps. “The furniture was chosen in a classic shape, but in such a way that it wouldn’t get boring. A bright yellow sofa appeared in the living room. The chairs reflect the customer’s hobby – equestrianism. The kitchen has calm color schemes, so we used a play on geometry – floor tiles, facades with geometric milling,” says the designer.
In the bedroom, niches were designed at the head of the bed; books can be stored in them for reading before bed. The wall was decorated with a pattern in the form of a delicate pink flower.
