Designer remodeled, chose high-quality and eco-friendly finishes, and integrated vintage and family items into the new environment.
The kitchen was isolated, small, very cramped. I wanted to increase the functionality of this area, create a lot of storage systems, and create a place for snacks near the window.
The kitchen was combined with the living room to fulfill all the wishes of the hostess. The set was placed at an angle. Household appliances and food storage were placed in a pencil case that spans the entire height of the wall. We also chose a built-in refrigerator and made upper cabinets on only one wall, hidden from view – due to this, the kitchen looks harmonious, solid, light and at the same time remains functional.
The tabletop has been extended onto the windowsill: it can be used as a place to have a snack or work on a laptop.
It was a very dark room, despite the large window – the fact is that it opens onto a balcony. It was necessary to organize a dining area and a relaxation area with a sofa.
The balcony was cleared of unnecessary things, the door was changed and ordered completely with glass to let light into the interior. The walls are light. A round dining table, a small sofa and a place for TV fit in a small area.
There is a second balcony in the bedroom; it was important to organize the space so as not to block access to it with the bed.
The balcony door was also replaced with glass and the finishing was changed. The double bed fits perfectly – there is enough room to pass through.
The bathroom was combined, but very cramped and ugly – with standard white square tiles. One of the tasks was to move the gas boiler, which spoiled the view.
We remodeled and arranged the plumbing fixtures so that everyone could use it comfortably. The gas boiler was moved to the wall above the washing machine – now it does not interfere with showering. The tiles were replaced with white “hog” and paint.
