A “killed” one-room apartment turned into a stylish and functional studio.
Designer designed the space of a small apartment of 29 square meters. m in Khrushchev for a young girl. It was important to take into account the full legality of the redevelopment and equip the housing according to the wishes of the customer: to allocate areas for sleeping and receiving guests, to accommodate all the necessary equipment.
During the redevelopment process, partitions were removed and new ones were built. The room was combined with the kitchen, divided into parts using color and shape. The wet area remained in place.
The passage to the kitchen was standard from the hallway. The area of the room is quite small. The decoration was in flashy colors, which did not add comfort.
The living room serves as a bedroom and living room. It was necessary to think through several functional areas and take into account the possibility of creating privacy.
The living room area is decorated in light shades. White walls give a beautiful play of shadows. The straight, light sofa can be transformed into an extra bed. Behind it is a shelving unit with open shelves for decor and indoor plants.
The walls in the bedroom are painted green – this created contrast and visually zoned the space. There is a double bed with a metal base and a small bedside table, similar in design to the desk opposite. Two black accent lights were hung at the headboard.
The tiny bathroom was originally combined with a very small bathtub and sink.
The shower stall was fenced off with glass doors made of black profile (they resemble the door to the kitchen). Storage cabinets were placed above the installation. Access to communications is also hidden there.
