Today we will share with you the details of creating a cozy interior in a small bathroom.
The area of the new bathroom was about 3.8 square meters. m. I came up with the design and purchased materials, my husband brought the ideas to life. He did everything in this bathroom with his own hands: he built a plumbing box, laid tiles, installed plumbing, faucets, doors, painted the walls. According to him, the most difficult thing was to install the box and installation with the toilet. But look how beautiful it turned out.
Previously, I associated bowl sinks with hotels and shopping centers, but then they increasingly began to appear in beautiful home interiors, and I also wanted one for myself.
The advantages of a bowl sink are that it is quite easy to install on a horizontal surface of any size, be it a cabinet or a countertop made of wood or stone, and that there is useful space around the sink for all sorts of washing accessories. And one more thing: it does not take up useful storage space inside the cabinet, like built-in models.
A sanitary cabinet with louvered doors is super budget friendly.
Inspired by pictures of Scandinavian restrooms with these cabinets, I definitely wanted one for myself. Only the cost of making them to order seemed disproportionate to me. And my husband, of course, decided to make the cabinet himself.
All materials were purchased from Leroy Merlin. There are doors of almost any size and for almost nothing. You can paint it any color you want. For the frame, you can take timber, slats or, like ours, wooden corners. Buy furniture hinges, we used piano hinges. You will also need furniture magnets, handles and screws. And, of course, crazy hands with tools. The budget for our closet is up to 700 rubles.
