Our hero Denis bought an apartment in a building from 1900 and beautifully transformed it. Today we will tell you in detail about the bedroom renovation and show before and after photos. Denis came up with many interesting solutions, take note!
Our hero wanted to make the bedroom darker and have a green accent wall so that when looking from the living room to the bedroom it would be visible and attract all the green plants in the living room. Plus the green tint is calming.
There is a large black wardrobe along the wall. Denis decided to leave it open because he doesn’t like sliding doors and thinks it’s much more convenient without them.
The bed in the bedroom is standard 160 by 200 with drawers where bed linen, pillows and blankets are stored. The upholstered headboard was originally gray, but the owner of the apartment repainted it green using a special fabric dye.
Our hero used photographs by Marina Abramovic and indoor plants as decor. The window is framed by a green Roman blind.
For our hero, the bedroom turned out to be a place not only for relaxation, but also for work. The MDF window sill serves as an office desk, and storage cabinets are installed on both sides. Denis found the chair in very poor condition and restored it with his own hands. It is important that, sitting at his workplace, Denis does not see the bed, which in itself is a zoning of the room and allows him to better concentrate on tasks.
