This fairy-tale house is slightly larger than Le Corbusier’s “castle” on the Cote d’Azur – the great architect built himself a summer house with an area of 3.66 x 3.66 meters in 1951. The man who designed cities believed that 15 meters was a normal living space. Enough to fit a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a tiny bathroom behind a curtain. What else do you need on vacation?
The area of the house on wheels is 22 square meters, but it also has more functionality. One end of the van is occupied by a full kitchen, the other is a bathroom with a real bathtub and a washing machine. There is even a bedroom – the size of the top bunk in a train compartment. But what a view from bed!
You can see many tricks to help you use a small space effectively. Two of the most impressive are a door that can be converted into an outdoor breakfast terrace on the grass, and a fold-out dining table with benches that can seat eight people.
The advantages of such a “dacha” on wheels are obvious – automatic natural air exchange day and night, sunlight, pleasant views. And most importantly, the ability to change your location at any time. You wake up in the morning, look at the green lawn outside the window and say to yourself: “Shouldn’t we have dinner on the seashore?”
