Vintage furniture, bright accents, unexpected combinations and pronounced individuality – we share a ready-made recipe for comfort for a small house.
The owners of this unusual house describe its style as “modern retro”. Indeed, the design harmoniously combines respect for tradition and interior trends, classic techniques and unexpected solutions, love for bright colors and natural colors, bold accents and vintage motifs. If you have a dacha or a country house, you can safely take note of many of the findings of the owners of this building.

Ann and Greg, the owners of this house, are sure that living surrounded by nature makes a person happier. That’s why they decided to purchase a former forester’s house, located in the shade of an old oak tree, to breathe new life into it.
The renovated space, however, retained a tangible spirit of antiquity: the decor included a wide variety of vintage furniture, and even the floors and doors in the house seem to have been seen by more than one generation of residents. At the same time, the interior contains many hallmarks of today: accessories and textiles from IKEA, all the necessary equipment, bright accents.

There are also current trends: the interior is not oversaturated with details, is quite eclectic (just look at the kitchen set and the chandelier above the table!) and practical. Accent wallpaper behind the head of the bed, different chairs in the dining group and eco-decor are popular decorative techniques that have found their place in the decor.
Separately, I would like to note the two porches (the second entrance leads to the part of the house where the guest bedroom is located), as well as the terrace attached to the former forester’s house – the new owners are sure that thanks to it the building has acquired certain features inherent in modern architecture.
