Is it possible to transform a living space in the shortest possible time? And how! For example, this two-room apartment was literally rebuilt in a record two months.
Let’s see how the designers from the FlatsDesign bureau breathed new life into a completely ordinary and unremarkable apartment.
The owners of the two-room apartment are a young couple with a cat, whose main wish was a minimalist design with functional areas.
The old floors had to be dismantled, thanks to which the ceilings became 15 cm higher. The bedroom was redesigned so that it took the shape of a square and now accommodates a large dressing room. The bathroom was expanded by 1.5 m² by moving one partition to the hallway.
Thus, all the rooms were made more spacious.

To cut down on time and financial costs, the renovation was carried out using the “dry construction” technique – installing “dry floors” and plasterboard partitions.
Instead of natural stone, characteristic of the minimalist style, the floors in the hallway, bathroom and kitchen were finished with Kerama Marazzi, Italon and Cersanit porcelain tiles.
Economy class Alpen parquet was installed in the living room and bedroom. The ceilings were plastered, and in the bathroom they were lined with plasterboard.
Only the podium bed with built-in drawers was made to order. It not only saves space, but also costs less than its individual counterparts.
As a result, only 1 million rubles were spent on the entire renovation of a two-room apartment with furniture and decoration! How do you like the result?
