After the renovation, the apartment was filled with light, color and a cheerful atmosphere.
Designer turned an old typical Khrushchev apartment into a “Parisian” apartment, bright and stylish. In terms of functionality, it was possible to place a separate bedroom, a dressing room and a bathroom, and a comfortable functional kitchen.
It was a typical tiny kitchen with a shabby renovation. It was necessary to improve the functionality and come up with a stylish design.
The kitchen is only 5.5 square meters, but it was filled with everything necessary. Thanks to the redevelopment, there was a place for a built-in refrigerator. The set was placed at an angle – one of the sides is located directly under the window where the sink was installed. Upper cabinets are on one wall only.
The entrance to the living room was from the corridor. The room is not very large, it was necessary to place a dining and living area in it.
The kitchen was combined with the living room, the corridor was added to the living area. A dining table was placed by the window. A sofa fit between two doorways.
Opposite the window they made a place for reading: a mirror was installed between the shelves, the composition turned out to be “a window into another reality.” The area is located next to the dressing room, which allows it to be used as a fitting room.
Before the renovation, the second room was narrow but long, with a built-in wardrobe and overhanging load-bearing beams.
The room was divided by a partition into a bedroom and a dressing room, and each room had a separate entrance from the living room. The bedroom was decorated using moldings and paintings.
The bathroom was tiled with old blue tiles, the communications were visible. I wanted to enlarge the room and make it more comfortable.
The bathroom was enlarged due to the corridor and combined with a toilet, and the furniture arrangement was changed. We built a niche for the washing machine and dryer, and moved the sink opposite.
