C8 broadcast a new number of Do not touch My TVthis Thursday, February 9, 2023. The day before, Cyril Hanouna received Francis Lalanne who was waiting for an apology from the host after his giggle particularly disrespectful that occurred two years prior on the show.
On the board, the singer refused the presence of several columnists including Raymond, very annoyed by this “selection”. In disagreement, the latter was violently reframed by his boss. This Thursday, the troublemaker of the PAF took the antenna of the talk show to decipher all the news of the day… Except the announcement of ARCOM, made a few hours earlier.
3.5 million euros fine in the Louis Boyard case
In a statement posted on his Twitter account, ARCOM (formerly CSA) announced a fine in the amount of 3.5 million euros against the C8 channel after the sequence between Cyril Hanouna and MP Louis Boyard last November, in TPMP.
In its press release, we can read: “Arcom estimated that these remarks brought violation of the rights of the guestrespecting his honor and his reputation (…) She also considered that this sequence reflected a lack of knowledge by the publisher of its obligation to control its antenna”.

As a reminder, the TV man had insulted the young politician in full live. “Shut the fuck up (…) You’re shit (…) Tocard, buffoon (…) If you are a deputy it is thanks to us”Cyril Hanouna had yelled at him. “You are irresponsible, you are raising racism in France (…) One day you called me to tell me, come and say some communitarian stuff”then replied the deputy, who also filed a complaint against the host.

ARCOM condemns C8 for the second time
This is not the first time that C8 and TPMP have been condemned by the CSA (former name of ARCOM). The superior council of audio-visual had imposed a fine of 3 million euros in 2017, after a homophobic prank live from the show.
If Cyril Hanouna did not want to talk about it this Thursday evening, he reacted anyway before returning the antenna. “Know that everything is fine, we are fine, we made a press release that I will read to you tomorrow”, did he declare.
