Despite a recent meeting with his father, King Charles III, Prince Harry will never again be a full member of the royal family, according to some international experts and British media editors.
Some insiders say the idea that Harry’s four-day trip to the UK could serve as a new working model—allowing him to carry out royal duties while remaining in the U.S.—is mistaken.
“The King is a forgiving man, but he has made it clear that he supports the decision of his late mother that there cannot be members of the royal family who are ‘half-involved, half-removed,'” said a source close to the royal circle.
Another royal insider shared: “It’s the sweet briefings from alleged Sussex sources that make the King and the royal family hesitant to take any steps toward reconciliation. If the goal is to encourage the rebuilding of trust and relationships, they have the exact opposite effect.”
The insider added that former President Trump’s visit to the UK last week was a show of strength for both Charles and Prince William. The visit also highlighted the unbreakable bond between the King and the Prince of Wales, a connection supported by other family members.
