Buckingham Palace is keeping up with the trends and has launched its own trendy toy – a plush teddy bear to celebrate King Charles III’s 75th birthday. This limited-edition collection is called His Majesty The King Charles III Edition Bear. The unique bears are available for purchase at the Highgrove House and Gardens gift shop.

Each bear costs £224.17 (just over 12,000 hryvnias). The price is supposedly justified, as the toy is meant for collecting rather than play – primarily as a souvenir.
Every bear is handcrafted by the legendary British company Merrythought (the same company that previously created the Paddington Bear toy) and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The bear, with blue eyes, is made from silver mohair plush and soft velvet, adorned with gold embroidery and symbolic elements representing the highest honors of the British Crown. Its paws feature the United Kingdom’s coat of arms and the manufacturer’s logo, while its shoulder displays miniature replicas of the Royal Victorian Order ribbon and the Order of the Garter star.
The total production is limited to 1,948 bears – a deliberate choice, as this is the year of King Charles III’s birth.
All proceeds from sales will go to King Charles III’s charitable foundation, The King’s Foundation, which supports youth, veterans, and environmental projects.
