Seven Years After “Sweet Home Sextuplets”: Here’s What the Waldrop Family Looks Like Now

It’s been seven years since Sweet Home Sextuplets gave viewers a heartfelt look into the lives of Courtney and Eric Waldrop and their growing brood. Though the cameras have long stopped rolling, life hasn’t slowed down for this Alabama family of eleven.

Courtney and Eric, who met in middle school and married in 2004, always wanted a big family. After welcoming Saylor in 2008 and twins Wales and Bridge in 2012—with fertility treatments and emotional loss along the way—their lives changed forever in 2017 with the arrival of six babies at once: Blu, Layke, Tag, Rawlings, Rayne, and Rivers. It was a high-risk pregnancy that ended with a miracle: six healthy preemies.

The Waldrops went from a family of five to a headline-making eleven overnight. TLC captured their early chaos and triumphs, highlighting not just the daily logistics of raising nine children, but also the couple’s strong faith, community support, and unshakeable bond.

Fast forward to today, and the kids are thriving. The three sextuplet girls are dancers, recently performing in their fourth recital. The boys? Baseball fans through and through, often seen playing alongside their older brothers. Their 7th birthday in February was marked with cupcakes and festive decorations, celebrating both growth and personality.

The older kids are also coming into their own. Saylor turned 16 in December 2024, earning praise from his parents as a role model and standout teen. Twins Wales and Bridge celebrated turning 13 in January 2025, and fans can’t help but point out how much they resemble their grandfather and great-uncle—also twins.

Social media updates keep fans in the loop, with comments flooding in about how much the kids have grown and how two of the sextuplets’ striking blue eyes still steal the show.

From baseball games to dance recitals and teenage milestones, the Waldrop kids continue to grow in love, faith, and joy—proof that their extraordinary journey is still just getting started.
