It was unexpected for me!🤯😵I sent flowers to my wife anonymously, but when I got home, the bouquet wasn’t there.

Three years ago, I married a woman I fell in love with at first sight. Her previous marriage had ended badly, but that didn’t bother me.

Six months of romantic dates convinced me that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I proposed, and soon we became husband and wife.

Our careers were thriving, and our income allowed us to indulge ourselves: we renovated our apartment stylishly, bought a car, and traveled.

We planned to have children but were still enjoying each other’s company. Despite our busy schedules, I always found ways to surprise my wife with unexpected gifts.

That June day started like any other. Ahead of us was the long-awaited vacation we both had been looking forward to. And then luck smiled on me: I received a substantial bonus.

I anonymously sent flowers to my wife, but when I came home, there was no bouquet.

I wanted to do something special, to make my wife happy. The idea of a beautiful bouquet of roses came to mind.

I arranged for the flowers to be delivered straight to the house. I decided to keep it anonymous—let her figure out who the gift was from.

For reassurance, I asked the courier to take a photo of the delivery. Everything went perfectly. I imagined her smiling when she received the flowers, hugging me in the evening, and thanking me.

But when I got home, there was no bouquet, no happy eyes of my beloved wife.

“Strange,” I thought. I casually asked, “How was your day?” She shrugged indifferently, not mentioning the flowers at all.

Inside, everything went cold. I had a feeling something was wrong. I could have just asked her, but I knew she would come up with something to cover it up. So, I took the drastic step of taking her phone.

I found the flowers had been anonymously sent, but when I came home, there was no bouquet.

I didn’t have to search long. In a conversation with a contact listed as “VM” (an abbreviation that meant nothing to me), I found something that in an instant destroyed everything.

She had written to this person about receiving the flowers, certain they were from him. And when she didn’t get a response, she decided to hide the flowers at her mother’s house so I wouldn’t suspect anything.

The pieces of the puzzle fit together in an instant. She had been cheating on me for six months.

There was no pain—only emptiness.

Divorce was inevitable.

Now, I’m not in a hurry to start a new relationship. Trust is too fragile. You can lose it in an instant, but getting it back is almost impossible.
