James Haven, Angelina Jolie’s brother, married reality TV star Romi Imbelli of The Real L Word on August 12 last year. Shockingly, just two weeks later, on August 27, Romi filed for an annulment, accusing James of fraud and listing their separation date as August 26.
In her legal documents, Romi noted that the couple had no children, did not seek financial support, and requested to revert to her maiden name. On September 20, James filed a response also requesting to annul the marriage. The following month, both parties submitted financial records to the court, but the case stalled with no further action taken.
In a surprising twist, Romi recently revealed that their lawyers are working to cancel their divorce proceedings. The couple has resolved their differences and rekindled their relationship. “We’re happy together and very much still married!” Romi declared.
