A passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines, flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed near the airport of Aktau, in western Kazakhstan. Onboard were 64 passengers and 5 crew members, a total of 69 people. According to the local Ministry of Transport, among them were 37 Azerbaijani nationals, 16 from Russia, 6 from Kazakhstan, and 3 from Kyrgyzstan. Information about two more passengers is still unavailable.
