She runs a lot more than most of my friends!
On her 100th birthday, Miss Bertie began jogging down the corridor, demonstrating that becoming older won’t stop her from having fun. Cheers to your birthday!
What does it feel like to be 100 years old? was the question posed to Bertie.
According to Miss Bertie, “it’s wonderful.” Everything will be fine if you just put your trust in God.
The evening host, Craig O’Neill, questioned Miss Bertie about how she manages to stay so fit at 100 years old.
“What did I just say? Just keep your hand in God’s hands and wait for it; everything will be okay,” Miss Bertie says.
Craig questioned her about the exercises she did to maintain her level of fitness.
She claimed that she raises her arms as high as she can while holding her fingers with her cane on her back, a motion she performs fifteen times every morning. She then performs the same action fifteen times more with her fingers. She then goes back and repeats the action fifteen times.
Craig makes lighthearted remarks regarding her workout regimen by posing the following question to her:
“Do you think it would work if they released an exercise program called Miss Bertie’s Exercise Program: Live to Be 100?”
I think it would, adds Miss Bertie, laughing.
