This year, the Guinness World Records added the largest rooster-shaped structure to its list. You read that correctly! The building, which is a hotel, stands at 34.931 meters tall, 12.127 meters wide, and 28.172 meters long. It was created by Ricardo Cano Guapo Tan from the Philippines.
There were also many music-related records. For instance, the longest recording marathon by multiple artists was recorded on February 14, 2024. Idem Abasifreke and the Beatisblaak studio in Nigeria completed this feat, lasting 95 hours and 59 minutes.
In Nigeria, an art student set the record for the longest drawing marathon, creating artwork for 100 consecutive hours to break a ten-year-standing record.

Iswarya Sundaralingam crafted 2,024 origami pieces in just eight weeks. She was taught how to make origami by a nurse who worked at the hospital where her mother was in a coma.

Esperanza Luminesca Fuerzina from the United States set two records thanks to her love of body modification. She is the most tattooed woman in the world, with 99.98% of her body covered in tattoos. She also holds the record for the most body modifications – 89 in total.
