🤔The 57-year-old Australian actress admitted to breaking a key rule of the holiday season.😧 Nicole Kidman confessed that she even had to apologize to her neighbors.

Nicole Kidman appeared as a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert just before the release of her new film, Bad Girl, which is set to hit theaters on Christmas. Her co-star in the movie, Harris Dickinson, joined her for the interview.

During the show, the actress made a surprising confession. She revealed that she had to apologize to her neighbors for breaking an unspoken rule set around the holiday season. When asked if she enjoys decorating her home, Kidman explained that she does it earlier than most and even wants to start a new tradition.

“Yes, I have Christmas lights. I’m the kind of person who puts up the garlands very early. We hang them at the beginning of November,” Kidman laughed.

When host Stephen Colbert asked if she celebrates Thanksgiving, the movie star confessed, “No. I just like when the lights are on. So we already have the lights. I apologized to all my neighbors for that.”

Asked how long the decorations would stay up, Kidman added, “We’re negotiating to call them winter lights. I want to start a whole movement that allows people not to take down their decorations. Light up your life movement.”

Kidman also shared that one of her first performances was during a Christmas play, where she played a sheep. “I laughed, and that was my first laugh on stage. After that, I became addicted to acting,” she recalled.

In the fall, Kidman made headlines for a controversial move at a fashion show when Salma Hayek embraced her, but Kidman pushed her away and broke free from the hug.

Just hours before receiving an award at the Venice Film Festival, Kidman experienced a family tragedy—her mother passed away.
