The love story of one of Hollywood’s most beautiful couples began on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Angelina and Brad fell in love, became parents to three adopted and three biological children, got married, but soon after the wedding, they split amid scandal. For eight years now, the actors have been embroiled in legal battles. Their sons and daughters live with their mother and have little to no communication with their father.
However, for millions of viewers, Pitt and Jolie remain inextricably linked. Many would love to see them together again, at least on screen. Directors and producers understand that the star duo in a new project could become a real sensation. They are willing to offer any amount of money to get Angelina and Brad to agree to star together.
Director Danny Rossner has stated that he can persuade the actors to take part in his film. He is ready to offer Pitt and Jolie $60 million for a joint appearance. He has already raised this amount and is prepared to make the stars an exclusive offer.
Rossner revealed the plot of the upcoming film. He describes it as the most important project of his life. The story, based on real events, takes place during World War II. Pitt is set to play Emmanuel Martinez, the owner of a hotel, while Jolie is cast as his lover and muse, Emma Diguard.
“Right now, I think Pitt is worth between $20 and $25 million per film, and Angelina Jolie is in the range of $15 million… We are ready to offer each of them 50 percent more than their current rate,” Danny assured, explaining that Brad would receive the larger portion of the sum, while his ex-wife would receive the smaller share.
The producer claims that the film will feature romantic scenes. “There is a love scene… It’s quite explicit. It’s not obscene, but there are very realistic love scenes. Martinez had a wife, but he also had a lover.”
After her breakup with Pitt, Angelina immersed herself in work and raising her children. Recently, she portrayed opera diva Maria Callas in the film Maria. The film received critical acclaim, with critics calling Jolie’s performance outstanding.
