Prince Harry decided to get a tattoo to ensure that popular artist Jason Bradley DeFord, better known as Jelly Roll, would perform at the upcoming Invictus Games closing ceremony.
In the amusing video, a playful argument takes place between the 40-year-old Duke of Sussex and Jason at the well-known New York tattoo studio, East Side Ink. The musician refuses to headline the event unless Harry agrees to get his first tattoo.
“I’ll perform at the Invictus Games, but you have to let me tattoo you first,” says the artist, and, of course, Harry agrees.
As a result, the Duke now sports the tattoo “I Am Jelly Roll” on his neck, under the “Invictus Games” logo.
It’s unclear whether the tattoo is real or just a joke, but it’s worth noting that Harry’s acting skills seem to rival those of his famous wife, Meghan Markle.
