Children of P. Diddy released a joint statement supporting their father and strongly criticized those spreading rumors about his alleged criminal activities. Six out of Sean Combs’ seven children issued this statement on the morning of October 22, ahead of a federal court hearing regarding a human trafficking case set for May 5.
“Our family has been devastated this past month,” they wrote on social media. “Many have judged him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false stories that have reached absurd levels online. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold on to the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing can break the strength of our family. We miss you and love you, Dad,” they expressed.
The accused rap mogul, who will turn 55 in two weeks, remains in custody at a federal detention center in Brooklyn after two judges denied his bail request. P. Diddy adopted 33-year-old Quincy Taylor Brown, whose biological father is Al B. Sure, during his 13-year relationship with Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018. He also has a 26-year-old son, King Christian Combs, and 17-year-old twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila Combs. Additionally, he has three other children: 30-year-old son Justin Combs, 18-year-old daughter Chance Combs, and 2-year-old daughter Love Sean Combs.
The family’s statement came two days after Buzbee Law Firm, AVA Law Group, and Curis Law filed seven additional lawsuits (from four men and three women) in U.S. District Court, accusing the three-time Grammy winner of serious sexual assault and exploitation from 2000 to 2022. Lead attorney Tony Buzbee claimed to have gathered enough evidence to file suits from 120 victims, thanks to a hotline he established, which received 12,000 calls within 24 hours. Combs’ attorney, Mark Agnifilo, dismissed the recent lawsuits as “blatant attention-seeking attempts” and expressed confidence in the facts, legal defense, and integrity of the judicial process. P. Diddy was arrested on September 16 in Manhattan following an indictment and has pleaded not guilty.
