«”It was my best compliment!😍”Blake Lively posted an emotional message dedicated to all the women in her life.»👍

On Wednesday, July 10, 36-year-old Blake Lively shared a series of photos from the premiere of her new film *It Ends with Us*, where she was seen helping other women get ready. In the photos, Blake adjusts the pink dress of author Colleen Hoover, whose book inspired the film, and assists her colleague Isabella Ferrer with hemming a pair of jeans. Other shots show her styling the hair of the writer behind the scenes, surrounded by Sony Pictures staff, and there was also a carousel photo with her mother-in-law Tammy Reynolds. In the caption, Blake explained the significance of the chosen images, highlighting how important it is for her to support other women.

“I might have received the best compliment of my life after this weekend. Someone on social media called me a ‘crown straightener.’ A woman who walks around and straightens the crowns of all the women around her—yes, that means so much to me because it’s those invisible things that make us all feel better. I’ve learned that we are all brilliant leaders, we are stronger together, and this applies to all the women in my life. This weekend was filled with inspiring female energy. Looking at these photos, I saw all of it in action. And it made me feel so happy and loved.”

Blake also noted how other women make her feel beautiful.

“I dedicate this post to the women who make me feel the most beautiful inside and out and who go to great lengths to bring joy, especially Dani, Emily, Kori, Bridget, Rose, Chrissy, Gloria, Stephanie, Ulge. And to the women who volunteer and attend our events. And the men who come to us as well! We love you.”

The film *It Ends with Us* is based on Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel of the same name. The story, inspired by Hoover’s own experiences as a mother, follows Lily, played by Blake Lively, who had a difficult childhood but managed to graduate college, move to Boston, and start her own business. Lily begins a relationship with neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid, and everything in her life seems too good to be true. The film is set to be released on August 9.
