👏«In order to surpass the world record, an American woman who is 104, skydived.»🤯

Don’t put off living your life, as 104-year-old Dorothy Hoffmann shows us. The Chicago resident fulfilled her dream by skydiving to break the Guinness World Record for the oldest skydiver, previously set by 103-year-old Linnea Ingegärd Larsson from Sweden. Moreover, she is already making plans for the coming year.

Dorothy jumped from a height of 4,100 meters, with the freefall lasting 7 minutes. After landing, the inspirational woman told the waiting crowd, “Age is just a number.”

Hoffmann completed the skydive in tandem with an instructor. Photos of her radiate genuine joy and positivity. Dorothy made her first skydive when she was 100 years old.

For her 105th birthday in December, she plans another adventure—her first hot air balloon ride.
