Recently, it was revealed that Kristina Sanders, the 61-year-old partner of 94-year-old American actor and director Clint Eastwood, passed away suddenly. Eastwood initially did not comment on her death, but later described Sanders as a wonderful and caring woman who will be greatly missed. The cause of death had not been disclosed until now. It has been reported that the death certificate lists the direct cause as cardiac arrhythmia, a condition involving irregularities in the heart’s rhythm or structure. Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease was noted as a contributing factor.
To recall, Clint Eastwood met Sanders while she was working as a hostess at his Mission Ranch Hotel in California. They began dating in 2014 and kept their relationship out of the public eye. Over their ten years together, Sanders appeared at only a few public events with the Hollywood icon, including the 2015 Academy Awards, where Eastwood’s film *American Sniper* was nominated for six Oscars. She also accompanied him to several film premieres.
Additionally, Eastwood himself has been rarely seen in public recently. It was only late last year that fans caught a glimpse of him on the set of his film *Juror No. 2*.
