A guy called Patsy excavated a tunnel covertly practically every night after his wife went to sleep for fifteen years. His wife didn’t notice his nightly activities until one day she began to believe something wasn’t quite right. Patsy had to invest a lot of time and energy in the physically demanding work. When his secret was eventually revealed, he said that he had considered giving up frequently.
But the tunnel was already rather deep by then, and it would have taken a lot of work to hide his tracks. “My wife takes sleeping pills practically every night because she finds it difficult to fall asleep without them. This made it possible for me to work, and occasionally I even utilized tools made for professionals,” plumber Patsy said.
Finally, after twenty-five years of digging, his job was completed. The end effect was a lengthy tunnel that led directly to a bar.
But when Patsy’s wife stopped taking the sleeping pill, his plan fell apart. She was horrified to wake up one night to discover her spouse moving furniture. He had no option but to confess when he got home.
After the walkway collapsed due to the unlawful tunnel, they ultimately decided to close the tunnel.
