Some individuals make treasure hunting their full-time job, while others do it only as a pastime. When wealth hunters bid on storage units containing unclaimed goods or go through people’s homes, garages, and basements in quest of hidden treasure, they never know what they’ll find. Sometimes they find nothing at all, while other times they find significant information.
In the state of New York, Anton Lulgjuraj began collecting abandoned storage buildings. Though he hasn’t found anything that has truly transformed his life, he did once find a wallet that would have made for a fascinating news story. When Anton decided to buy a storage facility, he ended up purchasing numerous Air Force pilots’ possessions. However, Anton’s eyes strayed to a little locker. Upon opening it, he discovered a wallet within.
Diane Hall was the owner of the wallet. Anton discovered some intriguing vintage photos, an old California driver’s license from the late 1960s, and an actor’s equity card inside. He wanted to know more, maybe even who was the wallet’s owner. As he looked around the Internet further, he discovered that Diane Hall was the actress Diane Keaton.
He believed she would appreciate having her old wallet back, so he messaged her, but he never heard back from her until the media picked up his tale. “If someone loses their wallet, it’s a common belief that they will eventually find it again,” Anton said. And I must say, this is wonderful.
