The impossible is possible: An exciting renovation of a 28 m² old building beyond recognition.
Designer-sorceress Daria Nazarenko began her creative journey from scratch to create a unique interior for a studio of only 28 m², located in an old Khrushchev-type house. Her sophisticated vision for the art of transforming space, coupled with her mastery of built-in furniture, allowed her to create a cozy sanctuary that includes a sitting area, a functional kitchen and a custom walk-in closet.

Zonal division was a key idea in this project. The main space has been converted into a studio with an adjoining dressing room, and the bathroom has been extended into the hallway area, which also includes ample storage space.
The recreation area has an atmosphere of comfort and style, thanks to the combination of bright colors and decorative bricks on the walls, and the floor is decorated with parquet with inserts of different shades.

One of the standout moments in this interior is the multimedia transformable furniture, which easily changes its function from a sofa to a bed and provides additional storage space. Turning it into a sleeping place is just a moment.

The cooking area looks elegant and compact. The kitchen unit is cleverly fitted into the corner of the wall, and the absence of upper cabinets makes the space free and airy. The orange tiles on the backsplash add a picturesque accent and pair beautifully with the Roman shades by the windows.

The bar counter, which also serves as a dining table, is the central element of the interior and provides additional work space.
In the hallway, marbled porcelain tiles create an interesting contrast with the dark walls near the entrance. The same dynamic contrast can be found between the facades of cabinet furniture.

The bathroom uses the same porcelain tiles as in the hallway, and it blends harmoniously with the decorative mosaic tiles in the shower area. Light glass blocks provide natural light during the day, and a built-in closet in the new niche cleverly hides the washing machine.
