Designer Elena Yaushkina designed this beautiful kitchen in a one-room apartment for her family. A coordinated redevelopment was made in the old building and the space was expanded by moving the walls. The result is a full kitchen of 8 m² with plenty of storage space.
When creating the interior, the designer was inspired by natural images and natural color combinations. Despite the fact that the apartment is small, it was decided to equip a large kitchen, since Elena and her husband love to cook together. There is a gas stove in the kitchen, so in order to coordinate the redevelopment, Elena will soon install sliding mirror doors.
The kitchen facades are made according to an individual project, with MDF under enamel at the bottom, and veneered facades at the top. The tabletop is made of quartz agglomerate, the end was specially made at an angle of 45 degrees to make it convenient to open the lower shelves. The backsplash is made of rectangular white mosaic tiles with epoxy grout. The floor has cement tiles with an accent geometric pattern. For comfort, a heated floor was installed in the kitchen.
The hood was hidden in an MDF box, the color of which resembles an apron. The faucet and sink are graphite-colored; the sink was installed almost flush with the countertop for convenience during cleaning.
From the kitchen there is access to an open balcony, where a married couple has breakfast in the warm season. The dining group is located in the living room area.
