Welsh black-nosed sheep have a very unusual appearance. These animals are rare and there aren’t many left in the world, but lately they are becoming more and more popular. The British Vaughan family also had such a pet – well, isn’t it a cute one?
The British Wogan family has an unusual pet – Marley. He likes to cuddle with his owners, eat cakes and walk on country roads.
Marley is a lamb that belongs to the Welsh breed of black-nosed sheep. They are distinguished by a small muzzle and black hooves, and the rest of the coat is white.
The mistress named Eli Vaughan immediately fell in love with the lamb when he was still a baby: “I fell in love with him when he was still a lamb.
He looked like a small white poodle with a black muzzle and black paws. It seems to me that Marley understands everything, what we say. And also – he likes to cuddle, although sometimes he forgets that he has big horns. »
When Marley was still a lamb, he became seriously ill and the owner had to take care of him at home. After that, Marley got so used to family life that he refused to budge.
As a result, he was retrained and now lives with several other family sheep in a special room – but periodically likes to come into the house.
Another Welsh sheep, Wilma, also lives in the UK. 24-year-old owner Liberty Mae keeps her on her farm, and too – the sheep have become great friends with her dog.
“Sometimes we watch TV together – it depends on Wilma’s mood. These sheep also remember faces very well. Every time she sees me from afar, she starts making sounds and then snuggles into my hair and bites it,” the owner explains.
In recent years, Welsh black-nosed sheep have become popular. They are rare animals – there are only a few thousand in the world. However, there are currently several hundred in the UK and one can cost up to £16,000.
