Dogs are extremely loyal animals and due to their intelligence, they can also be used to perform certain tasks.

In fact, they can be used to help people who practice jobs that come with a lot of pressure, such as a police officer or firefighter. For this reason, when these animals unfortunately have to say goodbye to us, it is important to pay them an important tribute.
That’s exactly what these cops did when they learned their dog, Hunter, had an aggressive form of liver cancer. Unfortunately, liver problems are common in dogs.
“Officer Micheal D’Aresta unfortunately has to make the toughest decision every dog handler faces, tonight at Pieper Olson in Middletown at 6:30 p.m.,” Chief Doug Clark wrote in a Facebook post.
The day Michael D’Aresta took his dog to the vet to be euthanized, the entire Middletown squad gave Hunter the credit. Photos of this heartbreaking moment have been posted on the K9 Brigade’s Facebook page.

Among the things the dog has done, he helped the police a lot in a drug operation last July and two years ago he found an old woman who suffered from dementia and who had run away from her house in the middle of night.
Good rest Hunter.
